The PhilX sensor has been specially developed for use in level measurement in large containers. Optimized antenna performance enables use in closed containers and in underfloor areas without the use of an external antenna. The large battery capacity ensures an average service life of 5 years. Emptying detection, temperature warning and various mounting options make the PhilX a real all-rounder in the field of level measurement.

FILL LEVEL MEASUREMENT

The PhilX sensor uses an optical measuring principle to measure the fill level. A so-called Time of Flight (ToF) sensor determines the distance to the waste using infrared light. A larger area is covered, so
inhomogeneous surfaces are captured and averaged for good fill level representation.

COLLECTIONS

Using a built-in acceleration sensor, the PhilX can automatically determine the collections of containers emptied by crane. The intelligent function determines the filling quantities before and after the collection event and thus enables the exact recording of the recovered quantities.

CONNECTIVITY

The PhilX reliably transmits data via the mobile network using the narrow bands LTE CatM1 and NB-IoT. The excellent coverage ensures flawless transmission throughout Europe and in large parts of the rest of the world.

GEOPOSITION

The PhilX level sensor is designed for stationary applications as standard; a GPS antenna can be added as an option. Localization of the sensors via the mobile phone network is included as standard, which enables the approximate location to be determined with an accuracy of 1 to 2 kilometers, depending on the transmission mast configuration.

TEMPERATURE

The PhilX sensor has a temperature tower measurement, which continuously records the temperatures together with the fill level values. Unique in the field of level sensors is the option of a real-time temperature warning. The PhilX is triggered when a configurable limit temperature is reached and a warning is sent immediately.

CONFIGURATION

The sensor is conveniently configured via the adhoc smart waste platform. The intervals for level measurement and data transmission can be freely selected. Furthermore, limit value transmissions for fill levels and temperatures can be defined in order to receive immediate notifications in the event of certain occurrences.

BATTERY

The PhilX is equipped with a rechargeable battery and is designed for a battery life of 5 years. Depending on the signal strength at the location, the runtime can be positively or negatively impacted. The battery charge level is displayed in the platform and a notification is sent as soon as the battery level is low.

ASSEMBLY

The PhilX has integrated M5 threads and can be screwed on directly. Additional openings enable quick installation using cable ties. Various holders for attaching the sensor at angles from 20 to 90° as well as special holders for using adhesives are available as accessories.

Sensor Packman

for compactors

The Packman is our solution for digitizing mobile press containers or compactors. Connected to the electrical system of the presses, the Packman transmits the fill level signals, the status of the power connection, the emergency stop and other information. The current position of the press is displayed live on the adhoc platform via a GPS antenna. Powering the sensor with a battery ensures that the position of the compactor continues to be updated even without a power connection.

FILL LEVEL MESSAGES

Packman can record the fill level messages from the presses (e.g. 75% and 100% messages) and transmit them to the adhoc platform. The messages can be freely configured and sent to any e-mail recipient.

SERVICE NOTIFICATIONS

Other signals can be recorded by the Packman, such as the status of the power connection or the emergency stop. This allows uncomplicated remote maintenance to be carried out.

GEOPOSITION GPS

The Packman has a GPS antenna and can display the position of the press live on the adhoc platform. With the help of geofences, the presses can be automatically assigned to specific locations and customers.

ALARMS

ASSEMBLY
