Use case · IBC containers

IBC containers that never run empty – or over.

Whether cleaning agents for production or liquid waste from operations: the radar sensor measures through the plastic tank how much is inside. You reorder before anything runs out and arrange a pick-up before anything overflows.

Where IBC containers get stuck

01

Suddenly empty

The cleaning agent runs out mid-shift. The line stops until supplies arrive.

02

Rounds to check

Someone has to walk over and read the level regularly – across many sites, a fixed part of working time.

03

Overfull collection tanks

Liquid waste is picked up too late. When an IBC overflows, it gets messy and expensive.

04

Orders on request

Refills and pick-ups run on last-minute calls – with rush surcharges and extra trips.

Two ways to use it

Refill or have it picked up

The same sensor, two directions: you decide whether an IBC reports at a low or a high fill level.

Supplies: before it runs empty

Cleaning agents, coolant, AdBlue or raw materials for production.

  • Message at a low fill level
  • Forecast of when the tank will be empty
  • Reorder without a round

Liquid waste: before it overflows

Waste oil, emulsions, rinse water or other liquid waste collected in an IBC.

  • Alarm at a high fill level
  • Plan the pick-up instead of an extra trip
  • Every pick-up documented
Radar sensor

Glue it on, done

Measures through the plastic

Radar reliably detects the liquid level through the wall of the plastic tank.

No hole needed

The sensor is glued on the outside. The tank stays sealed, approved and unchanged.

No cable

Battery powered, data over the mobile network – even where there is no power or Wi-Fi.

Easy to configure

Lower or upper threshold, recipients and channel are set in the platform in a few clicks.

Messages to the right people

By email, SMS or push – to purchasing, shift lead or straight to the supplier or disposal company.

Consumption at a glance

History and forecast per IBC show how fast it is used up or filled.

Every tank at a glance

Fill levels of every IBC on the dashboard and the map, across sites and halls. What will soon be empty or full is at the top – for refills and pick-ups at the right time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the sensor really measure through the tank?

Yes. Radar passes through the plastic wall of the IBC and reliably detects the surface of the liquid. No hole or change to the lid is needed.

How is the sensor attached?

It is glued to the outside of the tank. If the sensor should move on to the next IBC, glue it to the lid – when the IBC is swapped, you simply take the lid with you.

Can we be alerted when the tank runs low – not full?

Yes. For each IBC you decide whether a lower or an upper threshold applies. Supplies report at a low level, collection tanks for liquid waste at a high level.

Who gets the message?

Whoever you choose: purchasing, shift lead, supplier or disposal company – by email, SMS or push. With their own access, a supplier or disposal company only sees their tanks.

Do we need power or Wi-Fi at the tank?

No. The sensor runs on a battery and transmits over the mobile network.
