Delete your account and data
This page explains how users of the adhoc works and adhoc smart waste apps can request deletion of their user account and the personal data associated with it.
Requesting deletion
Send an email to info@ad-hoc.com with the subject "Account deletion" and the following details:
- which app this concerns (adhoc works or adhoc smart waste)
- the email address your user account was created with
- the company through which your access was set up
Please write from the email address stored in your account where possible. If the sender address differs, we will confirm the request with the address stored in the account — this makes sure nobody can have someone else's account deleted.
What is deleted
- your user account in the respective app
- your contact details attached to the account: name, email address, phone number, role and company assignment
- your sign-in and log data, including the push tokens of your devices
Once deleted, signing in is no longer possible. New access is only created through a new invitation.
What is retained
- Your company's operational data — for example container, location, fill-level and job data as well as documented work steps. This data belongs to the company using the app and stays with that company. Where it is linked to your account, we remove the link unless the company needs it as a record.
- Data subject to statutory retention periods — for example records required by commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO). We keep these until the period expires and do not process them further in the meantime.
- Error and crash reports from our self-hosted error monitoring (Bugsink). They contain technical details and possibly an identifier for your account, and are deleted automatically after a limited period.
Processing time
We confirm receipt of your request and delete your account without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days of receipt.
Deletion through your company
Access to our apps is only ever created by invitation — either by adhoc networks or by an administrator at your company. Those administrators can also revoke and delete your access themselves. Both routes lead to the same result; use whichever is easier for you.
Questions about data protection
The data our apps process is described in the privacy policy for our apps. The website is covered by the website privacy policy.
